TOURISM INDONESIA At MATTA Fair 09

Tourism Indonesia confirmed taking 20 booths in upcoming March MATTA Fair 09. For the first time Indonesia is aggressively promoting visit Indonesia at MATTA Fair this time around by taking premium space in Hall 2 ie booth numbers 2174-2183 & 2184-2193.Indonesia has recorded high number of Malaysians visitors in 2008 and is expecting a further increase in 2009. Visitors wish to know more about Indonesia do come to MATTA FAIR 09 and be at Hall 2.

ZOOM MALAYSIA

Kuala Lumpur 23rd January 2009.To further promote ZOOM Malaysia or Domestic Tourism , Tourism Malaysia has confirmed taking 48 booths in Hall 3 PWTC in upcoming MATTA FAIR March 2009.Zoom Malaysia is the new theme introduced by the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia under current Minister YB Dato' Seri Azalina replacing ''Cuti-Cuti Malaysia" and the campaign has started since 2008.Tourism Malaysia usually selects tour operators from all over Malaysia to show case the latest tour products and packages available for grabs through out the three days fair. Visitors are advised to come early to shop for best options value for money and to avoid unnessary dissapoinments.Over 70,000 visitors are expected to visit the three days fair.. Hall 3 of PWTC is maily for ASEAN Region where MALAYSIA dominates the entire space. Hall 2 and 1 are for OTHER INTERNATIONAL players and National Tourism Organisations.

Resorts World World Maintain Activities

PWTC- Resorts World Berhad is committed not to cut back activities in meeting challenges facing the tourism and the hospitality industries said Paul Chan Meng Yeong,Vice-President, Sales & Marketing at the Malaysian Tourism Symposium organized by MATTA on 14th January 2009. Paul was a speaker on the subject of "Current Overview & Challenges Facing Tourism Industry in Malaysia. He commended the organiser of MATTA Fair for its dominance role in organising the travel fairs in Malaysia which helps suppliers to compete and show case their products during the three days Fair. Their participation in the Fairs whether in KL , Penang or JB have immensely contributed to their long term customers promotion strategy. The Company manages the Genting City Of Entertainments is expecting an increase in the MICE activity mainly from local groups for this year.

Welcome to MATTA FAIR '09!

Welcome to MATTA FAIR MARCH 2009, Malaysia's premier travel extravaganza providing global exposure and endless business opportunities in this exciting era of groundbreaking travel innovations and technological advent.

The MATTA FAIR MARCH 2009 will occupy a total space area of 20,500 sq. metres comprising of Halls 3,2, & 1 of PWTC Kuala Lumpur. There will be more than 860 booths.

The MATTA FAIR MARCH 2009 will provide visitors with a host of exciting and value for money travel options and excellent business and travel opportunities.

In essence, all the attractions that have made the MATTA FAIR a known Premier Consumer Travel Fair in Malaysia will also be at the MATTA FAIR MARCH 2009 plus many more new exciting items. Up to 80,000 visitors from Malaysia, ASEAN and the rest of the world are estimated to visit the fair.
